iPhone, iPod Touch to Support Flash

The iPhone and iPod Touch may soon get support for Flash Player. The devices has a dedicated app for YouTube, which converts videos to H.264 format for the iPhone and iPod Touch, but neither supports Flash files natively. Some people, understandably, do not have Flash at the top of their list of priorities. Apple opted for a dedicated YouTube player instead, perhaps, allowing users more use of the battery while still enjoying one YouTube. Other sites using Flash like YouTube has been iPhone-proof but that may change very soon. This rumor came to GearLive from reliable sources. It makes sense as well so it’s highly likely.
