Apple had a sale on the iPod Shuffle, free shipping and free engraving, so I figured why not. Ive put off buying an ipod because they are so expensive, but for $45 I decided to go for it. I wish they had orange, but they didnt, so I picked the green one.
Apple had a sale on the iPod Shuffle, free shipping and free engraving, so I figured why not. I’ve put off buying an ipod because they are so expensive, but for $45 I decided to go for it. I wish they had orange, but they didn’t, so I picked the green one.

I figured they would just engrave it and send it. Which they are doing, however, I didn’t think it would be engraved then FedEx’d to me from China! It left Suzhou on the 24th, and is in Shanghai now. It’s due at my house on the 29th.
It just seems strange to me that it’s cheaper to have personalized engraving and FedEx shipping from China then it would to have it done here in the US. Transportation around China, airplane fuel from China to the US, then transport to my house. That little quarter size iPod will be well travelled.
